Description:
A short ten minute drive on the road winding above the small town of Gairo Taquisara leads you to the steps to the cave. The entrance is unasuming and leads to the narrow walkways that snake through the cave. The tunnel itself is quite narrow making it upclose and personal, the walls, ceiling and floor covered in things to look at. Stalagtites and stalagmites steal the show here as the crystalization process is clearly visible throughout the tour. Natural water pools also add sparkle and a strage peace to a fascinating tour of a beautiful cave.
